What is liquidity mining?
Liquidity mining is a strategy of many decentralized finances (DeFi) protocols that focuses on incentivizing the injection of liquidity in the protocol in return for rewards in the forms of tokens that can be traded or simply to HODL these tokens to seek further exponential returns on their investment.
Why is liquidity mining so important on DeFi platforms?
To simply put it, it is a great way to encourage investment and injection of liquidity into a platform or protocol; liquidity providers (LP) invest in the platform tokens and provide liquidity in return for rewards in the form of tokens.
Liquidity Mining on IX Swap
IX Swap is inviting all token holders to participate in our very own liquidity mining program on the IX Swap platform!
The program will reward IXS liquidity providers (LPs) on Uniswap with up to 2,500% APY. This reward will be distributed proportionally to the amount each LP provides and APY will be dependent on how many LPs participate.
IX Swap has implemented a time-based reward program to incentivize longer-term liquidity providers that provide IXS liquidity for the ecosystem.
Pool rewards are calculated by a smart contract that accrues rewards that can be claimed at any time!
How to liquidity mine on the IX Swap platform?
- Request to add liquidity/stake your IXS tokens and ETH tokens on the IXS site to provide liquidity on Uniswap

3. Confirmation — Please check and confirm the transaction to provide the stated liquidity to Uniswap and receive LP tokens in return which will represent the user’s representation of the pool.
4. Stake LP tokens to receive additional rewards for providing IXS liquidity!
5. Claim IXS Rewards directly on IX Swap for providing liquidity on Uniswap
